This week on Operation Kino, we’ve lost track of Da7e, but bring in as backup Sean O’Connell, who claims to be slowly Black Swan-ing Da7e anyway, so it’s pretty much the same as usual. We review the unsettling new indie Compliance, then get into a conversation about the process of mourning filmmakers, specifically inspired by the recent death of Tony Scott. Before any of that, though, there’s a lightning round inspired by Hit & Run, then tidbits, in which Patches hops on his bike for Premium Rush, Katey feels like she knows a little too much about Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell after seeing Hit & Run, Sean thinks Daniel Day-Lewis has already won the Oscar for Lincoln, and David gets all film geeky about the new documentary Side By Side .
